Josiane A. Kristensen is a Human Resources Consultant offering companies a wide range of Human Resources related services through her firm, Kristensen Consulting.
Josiane’s background includes 23 years of domestic and international experience in the Human Resources field.
Most recently, she spent 8 years as the Corporate Director of Human Resources, USA, for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, a luxury hotel company based in Hong Kong. She led the Human Resources function for several hotels in the United States and one in Mexico, as well as the U.S. Sales and Reservations offices.
Prior to working with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, she worked for Hyatt Hotels for 4 years and Sheraton Hotels for 5 years. She performed a number of functions in the Human Resources Departments of these two companies.
Josiane is passionate about Human Resources. She believes the most important asset to a company is people . She naturally brings out the best in people by appreciating individuality and diversity, and building programs to reward individual contributions.
Since founding Kristensen Consulting in 2000, Josiane has been working with many major corporations including hotels, distribution, food service, property management and retail. Her generalist background enables her to provide a menu of services to assist in a variety of corporate environments.
Josiane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada-Reno. In addition, she has completed several human resources programs such as the Human Resources Executive Program at Stanford University and the Disney Approach to People Management at the Disney Institute.
